The OCN® Test Development Committeeis responsible for the development of a test for the purposes of certification in basic oncology nursing practice. The committee is composed of seven members including the chair. The committee should be balanced with regard to areas of expertise,educational background, nursing roles, practice settings, geographic location and years of experience. Members of the committee meet three times a year for an item writing workshop and to approve the spring and fall test forms. All members must be certified in oncology by ONCC.

The Advanced Practice Test Development Committee is responsible for the development of a test for the purposes of certification in advanced oncology nursing practice. The committee is composed of seven members including the chair. All committee members must be prepared at the masters or higher level in nursing. The committee should be balanced with regard to areas of expertise, nursing roles, practice settings, geographic location and years of experience. Members of the committee meet one or two times a year for an item writing workshop and to approve the spring and fall test forms. All members must be AOCN®, AOCNP® or AOCNS® certified.

The CPON® Test Development Committee is responsible for the development of a test for the purposes of certification in pediatric oncology nursing practice. The committee is composed of seven members including the chair. The committee should be balanced with regard to areas of expertise, nursing roles, practice settings, geographic location and years of experience. Members of the committee meet one or two times a year for an item writing workshop and to approve the spring and fall test forms. All members must be CPON certified.

The ONCC News Editorial Board is responsible for the content of the ONCC News, the official newsletter of ONCC. The Editorial Board is composed of four members including the chair. All members must be certified in oncology by ONCC and have experience in newsletter editing. The Editorial Board meets four times a year via conference calls to determine the content for each issue of the ONCC News.
