2010 Pearl Moore Certification Champion Award

The purpose of the Pearl Moore Certification Champion Award, sponsored by ONCC, is to recognize and support an individual, group, or institution that is a true champion for oncology nursing certification. The recipient will be presented with $1000 and a crystal award at the 2010 ONCC Recognition Breakfast for Oncology Certified Nurses. This award may or may not be awarded annually, at the discretion of the ONCC Board of Directors.

Eligibility Criteria
The nominee must be an individual, group, or institution that has consistently advocated for, promoted, and/or rewarded oncology nursing certification.

Nomination Instructions

• Nominations may be submitted by any individual, group, or institution. Nominations may be third party or self-nominations.
• Submit a letter of nomination, addressed to the ONCC Board of Directors. The nomination letter must include:
• The nominee’s full name and address
• A description (including examples) of how the nominee has consistently advocated for certification in oncology nursing, and/or promoted oncology nursing certification, and/or rewarded oncology nursing certification. 
• The name and contact information of the nominator(s).

Nominations must be received by mail, fax, or email by December 1, 2009.
