 Relax at the Certification Oasis
Certified nurses are encouraged to take a break from Congress activities at the ONCC Certification Oasis, located on the ground floor of the Convention Center, in the lobby area outside Hall B1. Light refreshments will be offered mid-morning and mid-afternoon. A limited number of complimentary chair massages will be available by appointment.
Nurses who are not yet certified will find information and answers to all of their certification-related questions at the Oasis.

 Recognition Breakfast for Oncology Certified Nurses – Friday, May 14, 2010
The Breakfast is full. Seating may be available on a space-available basis only.
The 2010 ONCC Recognition Breakfast for Oncology Certified Nurses will feature keynote speaker Sean Hunt, RN, BSN, OCN®, a cancer survivor and oncology nurse. Hunt will present “Falling Through the Cracks: One Survivor’s Story.” His thought-provoking presentation will recount Hunt’s personal battle with two types of leukemia in his early 20s, and the experiences that led him to a career in oncology nursing and his work in survivorship. ONCC will also present the 2010 winners of the OCN® of the Year, Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse of the Year, and Employer Recognition Awards.
An email message containing a link to the online ticket reservation system will be sent to ONCC-certified nurses on April 6, 2010. Tickets must be reserved online. One ticket may be reserved per certified nurse. Attendance is limited to 1,000. Tickets will be awarded on a first come basis.
Please note that certified nurses who are successful in reserving a ticket will receive an immediate confirmation, which will serve as their ticket. Those who are successful in reserving a ticket must print and bring the confirmation to the breakfast as their ticket. No tickets will be distributed via registration packets or mail.

Pick up Your Certification Ribbon at Congress
Stop by the ONS Congress Registration Desk on the ground floor of the San Diego Convention Center to pick up your certification ribbon. A central Ribbon Distribution Area will be available, with a variety of recognition ribbons. You can also pick up a certification ribbon at the ONCC Certification Oasis, located on the ground floor of the San Diego Convention Center, in the lobby area outside Hall B. |
