| Computer-Based
Testing Candidates
If you are confirmed as eligible to take the test, you will
receive an Authorization to Test (ATT). The ATT contains the
information needed to make a computer-based testing appointment,
as well as instructions on how to change or cancel an appointment
if necessary. If you do not receive an ATT within 4 weeks
prior to the test, call ONCC at 877-769-ONCC. You may also
email ONCC at oncc@ons.org.
Admission to the Test Center
You should arrive at the center 30 minutes before your test
appointment to check-in. Please bring your ATT. You also must
have two forms of identification, including one government-issued
photo ID. Both forms of ID must be signed and current or non-expired. Bring official, legal documentation of a name change if your name has changed since you registered for the test. Legal documentation includes a marriage license, divorce decree, or court action documentation. Photocopies of documentation are not acceptable.
Examples of acceptable Photo ID include: driver's license,
passport, state ID card, military ID, citizenship card. Your
second form of ID must include your signature. Examples of
acceptable secondary ID: credit card, bank (ATM) card, check-cashing
card, nursing license. A Social Security card is not
an acceptable form of ID. You will be admitted to
the center only if your name is on the test center roster
and you have appropriate ID. No personal belongings will be
permitted in the testing room. Lockers will be provided for
storage of personal belongings.
Failure to Arrive for a Test Appointment
Candidates who fail to arrive for a test appointment, arrive
more than 15 minutes late, or who do not cancel a test appointment
at least 24 hours prior to their test appointment as instructed
on their ATT will forfeit their test appointment and all fees
paid, and will be required to submit a new test application
and fee if they subsequently choose to become certified.
