Note: the following Refund Policy applies to 2008 test candidates; 2007 test candidates should refer to their Authorization to Test and accompanying information for instructions on how to request a refund.

OCN^® and CPON^® candidates who are unable to take the examination may request a refund of all but $100 (processing fee) of the test fee. A written request must be received at least 4 weeks before the first day of the scheduled test interval, and include the candidate’s name, address, and test date. Candidates who request a refund also must cancel their test appointment at least 24 hours prior to the appointment as instructed on the Authorization to Test. Candidates who fail to cancel the appointment will be considered no-shows, will forfeit all test fees, and will be required to submit a new test application and fee if they choose to apply for a certification test during a subsequent interval.

Because AOCNP^® and AOCNS^® candidates have a 90-day period in which to schedule and take a test, refunds will only be granted under extenuating circumstances and considered on a case-by-case basis.
