Prometric Test Centers are Open
ONCC’s testing partner, Prometric, has reopened most test sites in the US and Canada, making thousands of testing appointments available in June, July, and August. ONCC is considered an essential program, and ONCC test candidates may schedule at any open center pending available test appointments. Many of these test centers are open at full capacity. Prometric is adding additional appointments. New appointment hours are opening up daily. These will book on a first come, first serve basis. Please use the Prometric scheduling tool at www.prometric.com/oncc.
Test Center Safety
Social distancing will be in place at test centers to promote candidate safety. Numerous other health and safety measures are in place at every center to protect test takers.
What does this mean for you?
- If you have not yet scheduled your test appointment please do so before your ATT expires. Note: November and December are the busiest months for testing. Schedule your test for earlier in the year if possible.
- Review Prometric’s COVID-19 update and Test Taker FAQs for the latest information on test center procedures.
- If you need to contact Prometric about your test appointment, please use the Contact Us link on the Prometric website. Prometric is experiencing a high volume of inquiries and their response may take longer than usual.
Please keep in mind:
Test center openings will depend on conditions and government restrictions in the local area.
The COVID-19 public health crisis may continue to impact test center availability in the coming months. ONCC and Prometric will make every effort to communicate with you promptly. We appreciate your patience during these uncertain times.
ONCC has resumed sending certificates and wallet cards to nurses who passed a test or renewed certification. However, we are doing so safely. That means fewer staff can work on these processes at the same time and the mailings may take slightly longer than usual. Nurses may use our online Credential Verification to provide proof of certification.
Thank you for your patience.
