The Oncology Certification Program Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining ONCC certification and certificate exams. This position requires strong communication skills, analytical thinking, oral and written communication, and attention to detail. There is substantial interaction with ONCC certification committee members, nurse subject matter experts (SMEs), and testing agencies with which ONCC contracts to deliver the exams. The primary responsibilities are to develop and review test questions by facilitating workshops with committee members and SMEs, and then to construct, review, and publish ONCC certification and certificate exams.
RN license, Bachelor’s degree in nursing and a master’s degree in nursing, education, psychology, or commensurate experience is required. Minimum of five years oncology nursing experience required. ONCC certification strongly preferred.
