Pittsburgh, PA, March 19, 2019 – The Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation (ONCC) Board of Directors member Chien-Chi Huang, MS, will receive the Prevent Cancer Foundation’s Laurels Award for Dedication to Community Service. Huang is being honored for outstanding leadership in cancer prevention and early detection.
Huang is the Executive Director of Asian Health for Women (AWFH), a peer-led, community-based network dedicated to advancing Asian women’s health and wellness through education, advocacy, and support. She has served as the Public Member on the ONCC Board of Directors since 2016.
The Prevent Cancer Foundation was founded in 1985 to save lives across all populations through cancer prevention and early detection. Huang will be presented with her award on April 25, 2019, during the Foundation's 2019 Dialogue for Action® on Cancer Screening and Prevention conference.
