2026 AOCNP® Role Delineation Study

ONCC will conduct a Role Delineation Study of advanced oncology nursing to identify the knowledge and skills needed for competent practice. The results of this study will be used to form future versions of the AOCNP examination.

Role Delineation Study Task Force       
Eleven nurses will be selected for the Task Force. The Task Force will meet in-person at the ONCC office in Pittsburgh, March 18-20, 2026. Participants' travel, hotel, and meal expenses for the in-person meeting will be arranged and paid by ONCC.

Pre-Meeting Survey Participants       
Up to five nurses will be selected for a pre-meeting survey with ONCC's role study vendor, PSI. There is no travel or additional meeting requirements for survey participants.
