The ONCC FreeTake Program is designed to help institutions reduce the two most common barriers that discourage nurses from taking certification tests: anxiety from fear of failing and the financial burden of paying for the test upfront. Learn how two institutions – and their nurses – have found success.

Don’t let test anxiety hold you back from taking a certification test. ONCC DoubleTake provides a retake option if you don’t pass the test on the first attempt – without paying the full test fee again.

You worked hard for your certification. Show it off with a digital badge. ONCC partnered with Credly’s Acclaim platform to provide you with a digital version of your credentials. Digital badges can be used in email signatures, digital resumes, and on social media sites such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter.

ONCC will raise its certification test fees January 1, 2023, by $4. The new test fees will be:

  • ONS/APHON member - $300
  • Nonmember - $420

The nominal fee increase is needed to help offset increased expenses associated with providing ONCC’s high-quality certification examinations.
