ONCC Practice Test Item Writing Workshop Call for Volunteers

ONCC is looking for certified nurses to write items for certification practice tests. ONCC will host a virtual workshop February 27-28, 2026. No prior experience is required but item writers should have good writing skills, strong knowledge of the subject matter, and a willingness to learn. Workshop participants will receive training on how to write test items and access to reference materials.

ONCC is currently looking for item writers for the following certifications:

• TCTCN
• OCN
• CBCN
• CPHON
• ROCN

Participants will need to hold at least one of the following certifications: BMTCN, OCN, CBCN, CPHON, or hold the ONS/ONCC Radiation Therapy Certificate.
