2026 TCTCN™ Item Writing Workshop

ONCC needs TCTCN™-certified* nurses to write items for certification exams and assessments. ONCC will host an in-person workshop on April 30 - May 2, 2026, in Pittsburgh, PA. No prior experience is required, but item writers should have good writing skills, strong knowledge of the subject matter, and a willingness to learn. Workshop participants will receive training on how to write test items and access to reference materials. All travel and expenses will be paid by ONCC.

*TCTCN™ is formerly known as BMTCN®. All nurses who held active BMTCN® certifications now hold TCTCN™ certifications as of January 14, 2026.
