2026 Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Competency Model Call for Volunteers

The Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation (ONCC) is seeking 36 volunteers to help develop a Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nursing competency model. There will be two workshop series available for participation, as detailed below. Interested nurses may apply for one or both workshop series.

Selected participants will not need to participate in all workshops in a series - you may attend just one or you can participate in as many as you desire/your schedule allows. 

Workshop Participant – Develop/Refine the Knowledge, Skill, and Ability (KSA) Statements

• ONCC will host a series (6-8) 2-hour virtual workshops during late June – July 2026. 
• Selected participants are not required to participate in all workshops. Participants may attend one or more workshops as desired.
• 20 positions are available.

Workshop Participant – Review the Competency Model and KSA Statements

• ONCC will host five 2-hour virtual workshops in late January 2027.
• Selected participants are not required to participate in all workshops. Participants may attend one or more workshops as desired.
• 16 positions are available.
