ONCC Selects UCSF Health as 2026 Employer of the Year
The Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation (ONCC®) has named UCSF Health as the recipient of its 2026 Employer Recognition Award. UCSF Health is based in San Francisco, California.

At UCSF Health, ONCC certification is central to defining clinical expertise and delivering high-quality oncology care. To support this, the UCSF Health Cancer Service Line fully covers exam fees through ONCC FreeTake®, and offers fully funded review courses for OCN®, TCTCN™, and AOCNP® are available to all UCSF cancer nurses and nurses at UC sister sites (UCLA, UC Irvine, UC Davis, UC San Diego). UCSF nurses also receive up to 40 hours of paid professional development annually, while certified nurses are also rewarded with a biweekly pay differential, and eligible certified per diem staff receive an annual bonus. Recognition for certified nurses includes newsletter spotlights, the Magnet Brag Book, an enterprise-wide Certified Nurses Day celebration, and optional digital badges for email signatures.
ONCC presented representatives from UCSF Health with the award during the ONCC Recognition Breakfast for Oncology Certified Nurses on May 15 in San Antonio, Texas, during the ONS Congress.
